arrowheads, flint and bone dagger blades and some ceramic finds from the <strong>Grottina del Laghetto al Fenera<\/strong> date back to the protohistoric age (III-I millennium).<\/p>\n<p>With the <strong>Iron Age<\/strong> (900-89 B.C.), there are the first traces of the settlement of <strong>Seso<\/strong>, with the discovery of some tombs in the western part of the city, while, with the Romanization, the centre of reference of this area became<strong> Novaria<\/strong> (Roman name of Novara): the Roman age is testified by the tombs in Via Sottile;
