\nThe domus in Cerrato road<\/strong>
\nSeveral fragments of mural paintings and of plaster come from this domus. The red-grounded panel
\nshows one of the most typical Pompeian subjects: the so-called \u201cperspective architectures\u201d with
\ndecorative elements as garlands or bands, but also human figures. A plaster cornice arouses a
\nparticular interest: it is decorated with a relief motive of which the figure of animal has been
\npreserved.
\nFinally, other fragments belong to a black wall on which some white, green and red decorations
\nwere painted.
\nA white-grounded mosaic, decorated with a frame composed by black tesserae, was part of a floor
\nof this domus.<\/em><\/p>\n
