HOW TO GET TO ALBA

By car: via the A33, A6 and A21 motorways.

By train: Alba station is just a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre and is connected by regional trains to Turin (SFM4) and Asti (the Asti–Alba line).

By bus: there are several regional bus routes connecting Alba to the main neighbouring towns.

Outdoor parking spaces, both free (white lines) and paid (blue lines, except on Sundays and public holidays):

  • Piazza Guglielmo Marconi
  • Piazza Urbano Prunotto
  • Piazza Monsignor Grassi
  • Piazza Adolfo Sartri
  • Piazza Medford
  • Parking in Via Santa Barbara
  • Cemetery parking lot in Via Ognissanti

Indoor parking:

Please be aware of the ZTL (restricted traffic zone), including at night in the historic centre.

For more detailed information on the restricted traffic zone (times, entry points, etc.), please visit the Alba Municipality website or contact the Alba Municipal Police directly.

Please note that on market days (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings), most of the parking spaces in Piazza Sen. Osvaldo Cagnasso are unavailable.

During major events (the International White Truffle Fair, Vinum, etc.), some car parks may be inaccessible (e.g. Piazza Sen. Osvaldo Cagnasso, Piazza Sartri, Piazza Medford).

In any case, we recommend always contacting the Alba Municipal Police and/or the Tourist Office to obtain up-to-date information, as we are not responsible for traffic conditions or parking in the city.
