The domus in Acqui Street
One of the rooms of this domus shows a mural painting with the chandelier motive and sea fantastic
animals decorations at the base, realised by artisans from central Italy and dated back to the second
half of the I century AC.
The presence in this space of the suspensurae on the floor and the subject of the fresco permit to
identify the room as the thermal zone of the house.
A marble herma has been put in light in the excavation: it shows a satyr, a frequent decorative
element in the prestigious roman houses.
